New Functions in the Members Area
January 8, 2006
Update: this is an article from the second version. Some of the functions are different now on the system.
Hi all,
We have added three major new functions in the members area. You will see them on the user-menu once you log in.
- Besides submitting news articles, you can now write your own blog entries, promote them to the frontpage, and it will automatically be recorded in your personal profile.
- Members can also send messages to each other quite conveniently.
- A more integrated and community oriented contact list is now in place.
In addition, we have installed a newsletter system, with the hope that some of us will be able to compile their own newsletters and send them to everybody.
We are actually trying to register an account for everyone of our fellows (so long as your email address is in our list). We hope we can finish this quite soon, although tweaking the system and porting the posts in the old Space do take the most of our time now. Enjoy!
Podcasting
January 6, 2006
Update: Below is an article imported from the old version. Podcasting is naturally supported by this new system.
We are now podcast enabled. To put in simple terms, a podcast is the name given to a MP3 file that is automatically delivered to its audience using a newsfeed subscription, which also enables audio/viduo in-cocntent showing and playing. After some hard attempts, we eventually have it up and running. See the button below? Just click it. It’s amazing!

I have studied mankind and know my heart…

I have studied mankind and know my heart; I am not made like any one I have been acquainted with, perhaps like no one in existence; if not better, I at least claim originality. – by Jean-Jacques Rousseau, “The Confessions”
